Join Us on Sept. 6 at the DC State Fair and National Book Festival

DarkSky DC will participate in two outstanding local events in Washington DC — the DC State Fair and the National Book Festival — and we invite you to find our tables at these events and introduce yourself.

The DC State Fair will be held at 680 Rhode Island Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002 on Saturday September 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (map)

The National Book Festival will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (map)

Our volunteers will staff tables at both events to provide people with information about light pollution and discuss how we can work together to protect our environment and night sky. We look forward to meeting you there!
